In Romans 1:21, 23, and 25, the apostle Paul highlights how people, instead of worshiping the Creator, turn to the worship of created objects. This leads to futile thoughts, and darkened hearts. They exchange the truth about God for a falsehood. This is also quite true for a believer who ignores the glory (v23) of God by believing in lies about their worth instead of focusing on God promises for his children.
